The American Cancer Society would like to congratulate the Formosa Cancer Foundation on its 10-year anniversary and the tremendous impact the organization is having on the fight against cancer in Taiwan.
The American Cancer Society is proud to support Formosa Cancer Foundation in its efforts to significantly improve the environment for cancer control and patient advocacy in Taiwan through encouraging a more open and collaborative role by government stakeholders, strengthening the leadership of non-governmental organizations engaged in the fight against cancer, and building links among the private, non-profit, and public sectors in addressing cancer and other chronic diseases.
The Formosa Cancer Foundation has shown great leadership in redirecting the burden of cancer in Taiwan. We look forward to continued collaborations with our local partners in the region that are building the capacity for cancer control and prevention.
